【観光コーディネーター：水野】
昨年、旅行商品の造成につなげてもらうことを目的として、旅行事業者の方を対象とした
「まるっと京都ファムトリップ」～京北・美山コース～に同行させていただきました。

山間地域のかがやき隊　観光コーディネーターとして、京北の魅力やほかの山間地域の魅力発信のため、40分ほどお時間をいただき、参加された旅行事業者の方にPRをしてきました！！

今回のファムトリップツアーでは、
・美山のしめ縄グループでしめ縄づくり　（南丹市美山町）
・京ゆば処　静家　美山本店でゆばランチ　（南丹市美山町）
・金花苑　宝泉寺で写経と鯖寿司作り　（京都市京北）
・村山木工で京組子体験　（京都市京北）
を訪れ、それぞれを体験してもらうツアーでした。

京都駅を出発し、園部ICで降りて美山に向かいます。
その道中に京北をはじめとする右京区、北区、左京区の山間地域おすすめ観光スポットをご紹介しました。どの観光スポットも写真や詳細を掲載した資料を使って説明をしたので、うまく魅力が伝わっているといいなと思います。

今回のツアーに同行して京北は落ち着いた風景が広がり、モダンな施設や伝統が共存している素敵な地域だと改めて、感じました。

ツアーに参加された旅行会社の方から、「京都市街地から1時間ほどでこんなに自然が豊かな京都があることに驚いた。」「まだまだ知らない京都があり知れてうれしかった。」「ご送客できるように努めてまいります！」などのポジティブなご感想をいただけました。

私は、京北の山国から見る夕暮れが好きでよく見に行きます。ツアー中に、綺麗な夕焼けを見ることができたのですが、夕焼けに見とれて写真を撮り忘れてしまいました。そこでいつかの山国地域からみた夕方の写真をのせます。（6枚目）

Yoshimine-dera Temple is located on the slopes of Kyoto's Nishiyama Mountains. It is famous for its over 300-year-old weeping cherry tree which is said to have been planted by Keishōin, a concubine of the 3rd Tokugawa Shogun Iemitsu and the birth mother of the 5th Shogun Tsunayoshi, when she restored the temple.✨

The temple is a great place to take in the splendor of spring in Kyoto.

西山でも古い歴史を持つ「大原野神社」。

延暦三年（七八四）の長岡京遷都の際に都の守り神として奈良春日大社の分霊が祀られています。

全国でも珍しく、本殿前には神使の鹿が「狛鹿」として鎮座することで有名ですが、こちらも紅葉の名所としても人気があります。

そしてお昼は西山たけのこが美味しくいただける「うお寿」さんで、名物「竹の子姿ずし」をいただきました。
西山の麓ながら美味しい海鮮料理がいただけるのが嬉しいです。

\Summer in Kyoto, Magical Moments with Water Lilies and Lotus Flowers - 4 of the Best Spots in Kyoto Prefecture/

Hello everyone! The summer heart has arrived!

What better way to cool off than to enjoy water lilies shining in the morning dew and lotus flowers quietly swaying in the breeze. Water lilies close their flowers in the morning, so you can see them and avoid the summer heat at the same time!

The fantastic scenery is sure to relax both mind and body.

Starting today, we want to introduce four of our favorite spots for enjoying water lilies and lotuses around Kyoto prefecture ✨

Our first recommendation is a great place to not only enjoy water lilies, but plants of all kinds.

📍Suikei-en in Keihanna Commemorative Park, Seika-cho, Kyoto

Suikei-en is a circular Japanese garden inspired by the landscape of a village in the Yamashiro area where Seika-cho is located. The garden includes dynamic stone arrangements and waterfalls.

Water lilies can be seen in one corner of the “Suikeien Tan” where you will find terraced waterbeds full of aquatic plants including lotuses. In summer, you can enjoy hydrangea, fireflies in the shade of trees, Japanese honeysuckle, and hibiscus towards the end of the rainy season.

Until June 29th, there will be an exhibition of yokai-themed traditional Kyoto crafts as part of the Keihanna Expo (see 4/14 post). After that, from July 29 to August 29, there will be a special summer vacation exhibition, "Mushimushi Grand Craft Final!

📍京ゆば処 静家 美山本店　/ 京都、美山

今回、京都府と京都市主催のファムトリップに参加し、京北と美山を巡ってきました。
京都市内から車で約1時間30分、美山といえば「かやぶきの里」が有名ですが
実は食や体験も充実しています。

今回の旅で食べた、静家のゆば尽くし膳。
汲み上げ一番ゆば、生ゆば刺身、陶板焼（ゆばのステーキ）、デザートにはゆば豆乳のプリンまで様々な食べ方のフルコースでいただきました。
特にバターをたっぷり纏わせて焼く湯葉の陶板焼が絶品。
おかわりができなかったのがもったいないくらい美味しかった。

美山に行ったら寄りたい店がまた増えました。

📍村山木工 Mushroom cafe　/ 京都市右京区京北

今回、京都府と京都市が主催のファムトリップに参加し、京北と美山を巡ってきました。
京都市内から車で約１時間、豊かな自然に囲まれ、のんびりとした時間の中で、食や体験を楽しむことができます。

立体組子細工（京組子）で有名な「村山木工」で京組子のコースター作りを体験しました。
ネジや釘を使わず木だけで組み上げる技術はまさに職人技。
その体験が少しでもできて楽しかった。

その後はショールームも兼ねている「Mushroom café」で紅茶をいただきました。
京組子のペンダントライトや照明が展示されていてその柔らかな灯りの中でゆっくり過ごすことができます。

ものづくりに触れるいい機会になりました。

＼🌕Enter a Magical Bamboo Forest! Bamboo Forest Light-Up Event🌕／

Muko City hosts a bamboo forest light-up event every October at the Bamboo Path

Designated a ‘Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Landscape’, the Bamboo Path is a walking path through a bamboo forest. One of its charms is the eight different types of bamboo fences, each with its own beauty, along its 1.8km length.

The Bamboo Path is just 30 minutes from Kyoto Kawaramachi Station in the heart of Kyoto City, making it an easy

For the light-up event, bamboo lanterns with floating water candles will be set up in over 4,000 bamboo tubes made from abandoned bamboo groves in the Muko Hills.

The lights are handmade by local artisans and support Muko City's bamboo industry with Everything is handmade with the help of volunteer staff. ✨

You can also enjoy local cuisine at the elementary school grounds adjacent to the bamboo path. Snacks, juice, coffee, alcohol, and other drinks are also available.😋

As autumn deepens with each passing day, why not spend a wonderful evening chatting with bamboo in Kyoto's secluded retreat.

*Event will proceed in light rain, canceled in severe weather

Time ❙ 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM (Food and Drink Area: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Venue ❙ Bamboo Path, 6th Koyo Elementary School Grounds (Food and Drink Area)

Access ❙ Approximately 15 minutes walk from Hankyu Rakusaiguchi Station or transfer to a bus. *See the link for bus details.

*At the closing time of 8:00 PM, all bamboo lanterns and LEDs in the area will be turned off simultaneously.

There are no streetlights within the Bamboo Path, so please bring a flashlight or other light source and watch your step.

*There is no visitor parking. Please use public transportation to get to the venue.

＼Moss and Autumn Leaves Nurtured by Hand - Hakuryuen, Kyoto's Inner Garden／

Hakuryuen is a secret oasis of fall colors. Located on the path to Kurama, where mountain gods are said to have resided since ancient times, this garden is a must-see.

It's also popular among foreign visitors as a photo wedding spot. ♪

Hakuryuen has many charms, but two in particular are noteworthy. ✨

The first is the five gazebos within the garden, each offering a different view. For example, "Uguisutei," the first to be built, frames the autumn leaves with its pillars and beams making it look almost like a painting.

Second, the entire garden was handcrafted. The long process of arranging the trees and stones, maintaining the stone steps and gazebo, and so on were done by hand taking years to complete. The founder, employees, their families, and local helpers worked together, without relying on experts!

Moss now grows naturally on the trees, stones, and gazebo roof, creating a moist, lush landscape. Some visitors visit just to see the moss, which blends seamlessly with the garden.

All this makes the garden a spot where you can not only experience nature’s beauty but also the delicate power and beauty of human skill, belief, and nature. ✨

Hakuryuen Garden is open to the public only in spring and autumn.
The autumn special opening is currently underway. ✨

Across from the garden, you can enjoy matcha tea and sweets at the rest area "Kajikaso," where you can also purchase souvenirs.

文化観光大使としてのお二人のご活躍も、とっても楽しみです✨

両選手に委嘱状を手渡した西脇隆俊知事は、
「京都は海や山、茶畑など知られていないところも多い。
協力するので、いろいろな所に行って良さをアピールしてほしい」と語りました。

創建は白鳳年間（672～686）と古く、伝教大師・最澄作と伝わる薬師瑠璃光如来が本尊として祀られています。
花で有名ですが、こちらも紅葉の名所でもあります。

西山の真言宗東寺派 別格本山 法壽山 「正法寺」。

天平勝宝6年(754年)の創建と歴史は古く、さまざまな動物に見たてた石が配されていることから「石の寺」とも呼ばれる庭園で有名です。

次に訪れたのが、「永守コレクションギャラリー」です。
2023年に公益財団法人・永守文化記念財団がオルゴールの文化とその関連技術の歴史的社会的価値を紹介するギャラリーです。
なんといっても場内で披露されるその美しい音色を聞くだけでも心が癒されるのですが、展示物ひとつひとつが高い芸術性と緻密さを持って制作されているところも注目です。
